studio series

taking you behind the scenes with candid moments in my home studio. here, i’m sharing my process, what it feels like in my space and how it inspires me to live and work as my most authentic self.

at the beginning of a new year, i take time to start planning another year of otràvie.

during this time, i dive deep into my vision for my brand and how i plan to grow and bring new things to life. it’s a slow process, and an accumulation of dreams and visions that have been collecting in my heart over time.

i love to take this time to intentionally set forth what i want to create in the world.

in the act of acquiring, repairing and curating vintage pieces into collections, i am inviting in and encouraging renewal by giving another life and a second chance for things that might have been once overlooked or discarded.

there has always been a deeper message behind otràvie, one that speaks of compassion, one that honors the value of things beyond surface appearances. it’s one that takes time to understand the integrity of what something is made of and the true value it has.

seeing this way and working in this way is in it’s own act a sacred process of renewal for myself.

it’s here in my home studio where i work in my element and feel such peace. there is a tall swiss evergreen outside my window and a view to the lake that reminds me of my undeniable connection to nature, white walls that feel like clarity, and a framed photo of my dad in one of his bands that reminds me of my origin and fills me with so much inspiration.

here there is a spiritual feeling, as i work on bringing new life into clothes, i feel so in touch with myself. a place for my expression in all forms, including carefree moments with love and family.
